Antony Gormley’s project invited people to have one hour on Trafalgar Square’s unoccupied Fourth Plinth. No statue of a military hero on the 4th plinth for my hour, but a ‘statue’ to honour unsung heroines. These heroines are the women who bring up children, who run households, who look after elderly parents, who act as the family’s social secretary.
